Men's Reproductive Health: REV Up Your Engine!

Reproductive Health is an important component of men's overall health and well-being. Too often, males have been overlooked in discussions of reproductive health, especially when reproductive issues such as contraception and infertility have been perceived as female related. Date and Time: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 · 7:00 - 7:30pm EST Location: Zoom (Virtual Workshop) This session will explore behavioral factors that negatively influence reproductive health beyond the avoidance of sexually transmitted diseases, preserving fertility, sexual vitality and desire. When it's time to "Rev Up Your Engine" we want to ensure the "check engine light" doesn't come on!
What to expect from "Rev Up Your Engine":
  • Participants will learn how to adequately maintain and/or enhance a desirable sex drive by improving lifestyle choices.
  • Participants will acquire understanding of the importance of regular check-ups.
  • Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of prevalent Sexually Transmitted Infections and how to prevent infections.

Men's Reproductive Health: Rev Up Your Engine Jerry Hankerson, Sr. has 31 years’ experience in the field of Epidemiology and Women’s & Children's Health. He has made significant impacts within the communities he has served, particularly in Eastern NC. He has contributed greatly to the eradication of communicable diseases and prevention of infant deaths by nurturing partnerships with community stakeholders and developing professional relationships with healthcare providers to design innovative initiatives. In addition, he has facilitated male health sessions that addresses preconception and reproductive health of men. He also actively seeks opportunities to highlight men's emotional and mental health and how it impacts on their overall well-being, relationships, and societal contributions, and how addressing it can lead to a more equitable and supportive society for all. As the founder of HANK, INC., Jerry Hankerson Sr. conducts various seminars and conferences on a variety of topics utilizing his unique sense of humor, creative analogies, and storytelling methods. Lastly, he is also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
