  • Can I Spit For You?—an invitation, not a request for permission, and an offering of truth, story, and presence - is where poets explore their craft and connect with fellow artists. Through workshops and performances, participants exercise skills and practice confidence to grow into paid features, gigs, and speaking opportunities, while sharing their work and building genuine connections across cities and states—without the barriers of travel, cost, or gatekeeping.
  • What to Expect: ● Craft talk on writing emotionally honest work without overexposure ● Invitation to submit one poem for personalized feedback or performance consideration ● Encouragement to develop and share pieces at April’s open mic ● This workshop creates space to write bravely, honor your story, and show up on the page without apology. Registration Information: After you purchase a ticket, you will receive a Zoom link and passcode in your email. Please make sure your email and phone number is entered correctly. Your name entering Zoom must be the same as the name you used to purchase tickets. If not, we are unable to identify you, and you cannot enter the virtual event.
  • Refund Policy: No refunds.
